Introducing Michelle Barton...
Michelle has been a race vet with NEGRC Queensland now for many years and takes fantastic care of our dogs. For those of you that don't know, Michelle is also a volunteer vet for the Iditarod and has been caring for dogs on the Iditarod trail for 2 years.
We also have a Vet Clinic on standby at Tenterfield and Casino should it be needed.
If you need Michelle’s assistance during the race, she will be located near the start and finish chute areas monitoring teams during racing. She will also be wearing a hi-vis vest.
If you cannot find her, please advise you require her assistance at the Check In shelter.
