Pointscore Race 2 (rescheduled)

Join us for Pointscore Race 2 at Pechey State Forest!

VENUE:

The race site is off the New England Highway, Hampton Queensland. It is approximately 2.3km heading from Hampton towards Crows Nest. Follow the sign off the New England into the race site.

TIMES:

Heat 1 – Saturday

Race Check in will be open from 4:00pm to 4:30pm. Please ensure you have completed your entry form online prior to the day.

4:30pm Drivers meeting - All classes 

5:00pm Canicross race start (in daylight)

All other open classes 6.00pm race start

Heat 2 – Sunday

5:30am Drivers Meeting (prompt)

6:00am Race Start

GENERAL NOTES:

Helmets and safety kits are required and will be checked before you start.

It may be wet, please bring your wet weather gear and/or a change of clothes.

Good lights are a must if you are competing in the night heat.

All races will be run under ASSA race rules.

This race counts towards the NEGRC Queensland Pointscore.

CAMPING:

Overnight camping options are Hampton Information centre (where most of us will stay) in the car park for free, or Crows Nest caravan park has tent sites and cabins available, but don’t forget to book ahead if you choose the caravan park. Camping is not permitted at the race site.
