NEGRC Pointscore Race 2

Join us for Race 2.

VENUE: 

The race site can be found as Esk Forest Road, Redbank Creek, Queensland. Entrance into the forest is just off the Esk Hampton Road, into Esk Forest Road. 

If you are coming from Esk, this approx 10km from the start of the Esk Hampton Road in Esk itself.

If you are coming from Hampton, this is approx 34km from the Information Centre at the top of Esk Hampton Road.

TIMES:

Heat 1 – Saturday

Race Registration will be open from 3:30pm to 4:15pm. Please ensure you have completed your entry form online prior to the day.

4:15pm Drivers meeting - Canicross and Bikejor 

4:30pm Canicross and Bikejor race start (in daylight)

5:30pm Drivers Meeting other open classes

All other open classes 6.00pm race start

Heat 2 – Sunday

6:00am Drivers Meeting (prompt)

6:30am Race Start

GENERAL NOTES:

Helmets and safety kits are required and will be checked before you start.

It may be wet, please bring your wet weather gear and/or a change of clothes.

Good lights are a must if you are competing in the night heat.

All races will be run under ASSA race rules.

This race counts towards the NEGRC Queensland Pointscore.

CAMPING:

Overnight camping will be ten minutes back down the road at Esk, at the Scout Hall, and we will have access to the amenities there. There will be a gold coin donation required for each person camping to say thanks to the Scouts for letting us use their facilities. You can sleep inside the den and there are tables and chairs inside we can use, as well as cooking facilities. There are flushing toilets and a shower as well.
