Dryland Sled Dog Sports, Come and Try / Demonstration

Join us for a come and try / beginners morning at Moriarty Park Community Sports Centre, Canungra, QLD.

We will introduce you to the basics of dryland sled dog racing, equipment, setting up and basic training tips you can do at home to help condition you and your dog to ensure all on track experiences are fun.

We will meet at Sunday morning at 7:00am and get underway by 7:30am.

We will have demonstrations at 7:30am and 10:30am.

We will also have a club sponsor 'Spot On Nutrition' with yummy goodies for your dog and non-stop dogwear equipment you can purchase!

You don’t need a dog or equipment to participate, we will have enough of these to share, but if you do please bring along. 

- Water for your dog 

- Safe way to restrain your dog (Tie out/tether or crate) 

- Enclosed shoes 

- Bicycle helmet (spares will be available) 

- Poo bags
