About The Event
Join us for a come and try / beginners morning at Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine QLD.
We will introduce you to the basics of dryland sled dog racing, equipment, setting up and basic training tips you can do at home to help condition you and your dog to ensure all on track experiences are fun.
We will meet at Sunday morning at 7:00am and get underway by 7:30am.
We will have demonstrations at 8:00am and 10:30am
We will also have a club sponsor 'Spot On Nutrition' with yummy goodies for your dog and non-stop dogwear equipment you can purchase!
Bruce from Scooters Mart will be there with the latest in scooters to suit everyone!
You don’t need a dog or equipment to participate, we will have enough of these to share, but if you do please bring along. - Water for your dog - Safe way to restrain your dog (Tie out/tether or crate) - Enclosed shoes - Bicycle helmet (spares will be available) - Poo bags
